Republican candidates like Georgia U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter are building up cash in the bank, in hopes the money will talk enough to help unseat Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff in 2026.

It’s already a shark tank of candidates. Carter’s campaign reports to WABE that he’s raised roughly $1 million.

His opponent U.S. Rep. Mike Collins has raised $1.9 million, with another $1 million transferred from his congressional account.
